MARKETING ASSISTANT (Part-Time, Contract)

Job Summary

Candidates must have a solid grasp of the marketing and content development process.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

You will be responsible for cultivating and leading marketing engagements for the organization. You will be flexible and able to think strategically, act tactically, and be a trusted advisor for client executives. You will help facilitate the planning of the marketing calendar, facilitate the execution of existing marketing campaigns, strategize new marketing initiatives that leverage data-driven insights, add the actionable "so what" to KPI reports, and other related activities required to drive results in a high performance marketing environment.

You will support and work closely with all departments to align strategies. The candidate will play a critical role in designing, activating, and executing the marketing collateral that we aspire to create at different stages of the cycle. You will be able to quantify and articulate the business value that strategic solutions bring to the table.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in an in-depth knowledge of the client's: business, strategic objectives and annual goals; the industry within which the they operate, key trends, disruptors, economics; competitors, positioning, key trends, marketing programs; key initiatives, objectives

  • Work on real-time communications strategies through the use of segmentation, targeting, channels, offers, messaging, testing, reporting, and analysis with a focus on integrating digital and offline channels.

  • Assess and optimize customer experiences through journey mapping and other tools..

  • Identify high level business requirements for marketing technology solutions.

  • Advise on how to drive client marketing communication results through data-driven insights.

  • Build language and content development for all marketing collateral, pitch decks and business plan segments

  • This role is part of an established company for over 9 years and part of an internal project start up and requires an individual who can enter the team and bring their experience to elevate the vision and build strong collateral

  • This role requires the candidate to multi task and work effectively on managing multiple marketing related projects in a variety of ongoing assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Recent grad or candidate seeking to build experience on a work flex type of scenario

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is required

  • Strong grasp of digital marketing innovations and disruptions, specifically in b2b

  • Familiar with best of breed marketing tools including mobile marketing, business intelligence, campaign management, digital analytics, content management, and offer management desired

  • Hands-on PowerPoint expert that can rapidly create polished PowerPoint decks and can build language, marketing terminology and content development skills. Editing and writing skills.

  • Work from our South Granville office on Wednesday's and remotely the remainder of the week.
