SENIOR DIGITAL MARKETER & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

The ideal candidate for this role has at least 5-7 years of experience in the digital marketing space. This is a contract position (part-time, 20 hours a week) that will likely be full-time in 6 months.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience managing digital marketing for a marketing company.

  • Background in journalism or creative writing (strong writing skills a must!)

    • craft original content for our blog, industry articles, eBooks, social media, presentations and more!

  • Desired Skills (Intermediate/Advanced):

    • MailChimp

      • create custom mobile-optimized email templates such as newsletters and event invitations

      • excellent copywriting to increase clicks-through to website

      • design banner images

      • familiar with the set-up and delivery of CANSPAM emails

      • develop email marketing campaigns with advanced segmentation & automation

    • WordPress & SquaresSpace

      • ability to customize Social T. website

      • design and craft content for custom landing pages

      • continuously optimize site for maximum online reach

    • Graphic Design

      • create proposals, reports, presentations and social media graphics

    • Facebook & Instagram Ads Management including:

      • create custom visuals that perform!

      • run, manage and analyze ads

      • results-driven approach to social media advertising

    • YouTube

      • page management including YouTube video optimization

      • Ads Management through Google Ads

    • Data Analysis & Strategy

  • Manage @socialtyvr feeds

    • Grow social following organically and authentically

    • Curate creative Instagram Stories to help us stand out!

    • Develop hashtag formulas to improve organic reach

    • Run ads on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube

  • Craft compelling content

    • For Social T. website and blog

    • Design and launch online training courses

    • Paid eBook creation and launch

      • create a landing page and social media posts to gain paid downloads

  • Attend networking events to spread the word about Social T.

  • Contribute to strategy and innovation in social media and explore new opportunities and emerging trends.

  • Research. You love to dig two feet deeper to get the best stats for our marketing materials.

Monitor & Measure

  • Continuously improve by capturing & analyzing appropriate social data/metrics

  • Use insights, metrics & analytics to optimize communications in type, tone, frequency and topic

DETAILS:

  • This is a contract position starting at 20 hours per week.

  • We have a Bonus/Commission structure based on exceeding performance KPI’s

  • Work from our South Granville office on Wednesday's & Thursday's. Flexible schedule.
